REPORTS TO: Head Cook
JOB GOAL:
To serve the students attractive and nutritious meals in an atmosphere of efficiency, cleanliness and
friendliness.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
-
Daily setup of lunch program (condiments, plates, silverware, bowls, etc.). Set up and restocking food, condiments, plates, silverware, etc. as needed.

Assisting the head cook as needed.
-
Assist with freight unloading as needed.
-
Daily clean-up of the kitchen and service area (including removing food items, cleaning tables, etc.). Empty garbage and mop floors in cafeteria area daily.

Put food and clean dishes away as needed.
-
Assisting and subbing for other staff as needed.
-
Prepare food production sheets.
-
Perform other duties as may be assigned.
-
Participate in in-service training programs as required.
-
Comply with stated safety practices, including sanitary requirements, etc.

1.0 FTE High School Agriculture Teacher
1.0 FTE High School Agriculture Teacher

The Hawley Public School District has an opening for a 1.0 FTE licensed agriculture teacher for the 2024-2025 school year and beyond. This position is new to our district as we are expanding our Agriculture program. Hawley High School boasts excellent facilities and equipment with a new middle school being constructed over the next couple of years and set to open in the fall of 2026. There is also potential to develop connections with local agribusinesses. The candidate will have freedom to bring new ideas and curriculum to the courses while working in a department. The district has an impressive resume and high expectations for student achievement. The teaching load will depend upon licensure. Extra-curricular positions are available but not a requirement for this position.

The Hawley Public School District has an opening for a 1.0 FTE licensed Family
and Consumer Science teacher for the 2023-24 school year to be part of a two-
person department. If a full time candidate is not found, there is potential for this
position to be part time teaching 8 th and 9 th grade classes for two or three periods in
the morning. Hawley High School boasts excellent facilities and equipment with a
new middle school being constructed over the next couple of years. The district has
an impressive resume and high expectations for student achievement. The teaching
