Drivers Ed Information

Hawley Public Schools offers Driver’s Education three times each year:

• Early Spring

• Summer

• Late Fall

Important Registration Information:

• Priority registration is given to students who will turn 15 years old during that calendar year.

• Registration is not open for general sign-up. Instead, the Community Education Director will contact families directly as students' birthdays approach.

• Example: For the Summer 2025 class (July/August), students who will be turning 15 during the summer or early fall will receive first priority.

This system ensures that students are able to complete the classroom portion of Driver’s Education just before or close to their 15th birthday, keeping them on track for behind-the-wheel training.
