| Sara Klingfus is a 1986 graduate of Concordia College, Moorhead, Minnesota. While there she received a Bachelor of Music degree with an emphasis on teaching instrumental music. Her first jobs were in Ulen-Hitterdal, Hawley and West Fargo. She taught 5th and 6th grade band for 7 years in Detroit Lakes. Since 1997 she has been teaching in Hawley. Her assignments have been Elementary and Jr. High Bands, instrumental lessons and some elementary classroom music. Outside of teaching she is involved with her church choir as an accompanist and has been a member of the Lakes Area Community Band, playing the alto saxophone, since its inception. |
